Spinach With Bowtie Pasta

Hello delicious party salad! This is pretty much the staple of all staple salad when there is a party with my family.  It is another salad that has gone from here to there to everywhere. Usually it is made with Bowtie pasta and this picture has funky lighting so it doesn’t do it justice.
The dressing on this is mouth watereing and look at those fresh ingredients. It totally screams “eat me.” It is a tinsy bit spendy but oh so worth it.
 Note: This salad doesn’t keep well for the next day so make sure it is gobbled right up. Don’t worry, you won’t have to twist any arms. Make sure to take this to your holiday parties coming up. It is an all time FAVORITE!
 (exact amount depends on personal preference and taste)
  • 1one box of farfalle bowtie pasta
  • one purple onion
  • five sliced roma tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of torn spinach
  • crumbled blue cheese
  • 2-3 avocados
  • salt & pepper
One jar of Girard’s Romano Cheese dressing * This can be tricky to find sometimes. ( I’ve searched 3 grocery stores in one night for it.) Harmon’s it.  Smiths sometimes has it in stock… It is very popular so stock up when you find it.  I have also used the white balsamic in the same brand because I couldn’t find it and it worked great too).
1- cook bowtie pasta until soft
2- mix cooked pasta with a jar of Girard’s Romano dressing, refrigerate and let marinade overnight. (This is a must btw. It will not taste as wonderful if you just throw it on). I’m not jokin!!
3- Mix marinated pasta with spinach leaves
4- add one purple onion, five sliced tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese, salt and pepper
*Add avocadoes very last because they get smashed while mixing
Serve cold and fresh.
