Fresh Peach Dessert

OK.. Get ready … this dessert will blow you away!  This defines DIVINE on every level. I got this recipe from my friend Callie Anderson a few years ago. It is amazing!!!  Anyone who tries this becomes a fan instantly. Who doesn’t love fresh chilled peaches mixed in jello over a combo of cream cheese, cool whip and grahams?
I am kind of dying right now while writing this post. Hurry up and make this before the peaches are outta here! This is one of my top favorite summertime desserts. I like it even better the next day for breakfast 🙂 When I take it somewhere I watch it like a hawk and cross my fingers that it doesn’t get devoured.  I’m usually out of luck though. 🙁
Let me know what you think.
  • 10 peaches (I usually buy them from Costco and let them ripen 3,4 days before I make this)
  • 2packs graham crackers (the small packs)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 pack cream cheese softened (I use 1/3 less fat kind)
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 3oz peach jello
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 11/2 cup water
1– slice the skin off of peaches, clean and set aside
2- boil 11/2 cup water and stir in peach jello and 1/2 cup sugar until both dissolved (put into separate bowl and into fridge for 10 minutes to cool off)
(after jello has cooled, mix with peaches and place into the fridge to cool while preparing everything else)
3- whip cream cheese, cool whip and powdered sugar in a bowl (with an electric mixer)
4- smash the 2 packs of graham crackers and place into a bowl adding the melted 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup sugar.  Mix well and place onto the bottom of  a 9×13 Pyrex
5- pour cream cheese mixture on top
6- add the jello/peach mixture as the finale
*allow 4 hours or so for it to set.
You will be in heaven.  It is so super fabulous!!!
P.S.  You could add blueberries or raspberries to this before you chill it or toss them in with each piece before you serve it/just for the fancy factor.    Your guests won’t stop talking about it 🙂

  1. My grandma used to make a raspberry jello with raspberries on top of the cream cheese with a layer of walnuts! Reminds me of Thanksgiving at her house. Ahhh, good times. Thanks for sharing!
