Hey everyone! I literally disappeared for almost two months. I think it was the freezing weather and lack of motivation to do anything all together!!! Good news is that I’m back! Lots of great recipes underway that I can’t wait to blog about.
This recipe was so so good. Crock Pot friendly might I add as well 🙂 It was easy to prepare and cheap. It’s very similar to the Amber’s Italian chicken that most of you have already tried. I like this better. It has more of ‘zing to it, has less cream cheese and tastes delicious. You can serve it over pasta, brown rice, or whatever floats your boat.
My kids are pasta lovers so I did angel hair. Make sure that you drizzle the sauce over the noodles as well. I boiled broccoli and mixed it in with my own dish. It was the perfect combo of everything your body needs for a balanced meal. Sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top for perfection 🙂
- 4 chicken breast halves (I threw a bunch of frozen tenders in (18-I like leftover chicken)
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 4oz onion and chive cream cheese
- 1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (or a little more if you use lots of tenders)
- parmesan cheese
1- combine all ingredients in crock pot and cook on high for 5 hours. Or cook on low for 8
(after it has cooked for a little bit stir all ingredients together to make sure they’re mixed)
